Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate!. I hope you will have a wonderful day with family and friends and enjoy some really delicious food, of course. It will be low key here with our daughter, son, and my husband’s mother. I had plans to make a new Lemon Meringue Dream Bar, but couldn’t find any lemon pie filling at any of the stores I went to. Don’t worry, I won’t stop searching and you can bet it will be on the blog soon.
I’m so glad it stopped raining here the past few days, I thought we were going to have to build an ark! Aaaannnnd, it’s going to rain again during the week. I’ll try not to float away. ๐

Slow Cookers can be a life saver any time of year, but especially when the weather turns warmer. So, when you’re having a craving for a lasagna, and also want a meal with a taste of Mexico, make this โSlow Cooker Mexican Lasagnaโ.

โBrown Sugar Glazed Carrotsโ are quick and easy to make with mouthwatering flavor. Whole carrots are boiled until tender, then tossed with butter and brown sugar giving them beautifully caramelized edges.

Love lemon, then you’re going to fall head over heels with this โLemon Poke Cake with Marshmallow Frostingโ. It’s super easy to make because it uses a cake mix (yes, I use a cake mix on occasion to save time, but if you want to make it completely from scratch, you can definitely do that!), lemon gelatin, and either lemon pie filling or โhomemade lemon curdโ. Then you’re going to top it with some frosting that tastes like marshmallows. It’s wonderful and a perfect Springtime dessert.

This โStrawberry Sauceโ is EVERYTHING!! You only need 3 ingredients and about 15 minutes to make it. I put it on ice cream, pancakes, waffles, French toast, and it ALWAYS tops our โCheese Blintzesโ.
Top your ice cream with some Strawberry Sauce!

Favorite Product of the Week:
I’ve used this Prepworks Multifunctional Dough Press Set to make my โPork Potstickersโ, and it made the process so much easier. I highly suggest using them if trying to manually fold the dough intimidates you and prevents you from making them. They come in three different sizes, so they’ll be perfect for making these โhand piesโ, too!

Tip of the Week:
Dry active yeast. If you store it in the freezer, it will help retain its’ shelf life. This is great to do if you like to buy it in bulk, AND if you enjoy making my โGrandma’s Italian Breadโ!
