Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats

Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats are a fun twist on a classic! This nostalgic treat brings back memories of your childhood with favorite colorful marshmallows, crunchy cereal, and gooey marshmallows.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 cups Lucky Charms cereal
- 1 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows for topping
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Grease a 9x13-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter. Set it aside.
- In a large pot, melt and brown the butter over low heat.
- Once the butter has melted and browned, add in the marshmallows and vanilla. Stir continuously with a silicone spatula, being sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the pot. Continue until the marshmallows have melted and are a smooth consistency.
- Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal and the Lucky Charms cereal. Mix until both cereals are incorporated well and fully coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.
- Quickly transfer the mixture to the prepared 9x13-inch pan and press into an even layer.
- Sprinkle the reserved Lucky Charms marshmallows on top and lightly press them into the treats, so they stick.
- Let the treats cool for 30 minutes before cutting them into squares.
Notes
Store at room temperature, in a tightly covered container for 3-4 days.
