Ingredients
1poundboneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 ½cupslow sodium chicken broth
½cup white wine
enough water to cover chicken
2garlic clovesminced
1teaspoononion powder
¾teaspoonthyme
½ teaspoonsage
½teaspoonkosher salt
½teaspoon pepper
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a large saucepan so that they can lay flat and in a single layer.
Add the chicken broth, wine, and enough water to cover the chicken so that there is 1 inch of liquid above them.
Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, cook for 3 minutes.
Cover, remove pan from heat, and let sit for 16-18 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 155°F.
