Don’t have it where you are? You can easily make it at home with this simple recipe! - fresh parsley
- garlic powder
- onion powder

Can I make these ahead of time?
Bisquick sausage and cheese balls are an amazing make-ahead freezer friendly recipe. Assemble the balls when you have a free few minutes and freeze them on a baking sheet.
When you’re ready to eat, just pop them in the oven, heat at 375°F for 20 minutes, and you’ll have a crowd pleasing hot appetizer everyone will enjoy.
I usually make these the night before then freeze them overnight. If you want to freeze them longer, make sure the sausage balls are wrapped in freezer bags to keep them fresh. They keep well in the freezer for about 3 months.
Can you freeze cooked sausage balls?
Yes, you can freeze cooked sausage cheese balls too. If you (somehow) wind up with leftovers, store them in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze them for up to 2 months.
Cooked meat dries out faster than uncooked meat, so sausage balls that are frozen before baking will stay good longer than cooked ones.

When it comes to affordable meat that packs in the flavor, it’s hard to go wrong with sausage. I love to stock up on sausage when its on sale so I’m always prepared to make some of my family’s favorite dishes, like Sausage Spaghetti Squash and this One Pot Sausage Linguine.
