What is the perfect way watermelon slushie?
It’s so super easy to make this watermelon drink!
Put everything in your blender (or food processor even!) and mix away!
For best results, I recommend blending all of the ingredients for at least 2-3 minutes. That way the lemonade mix will incorporate really well into the liquids and won’t be gritty.
Can you freeze watermelon?
YES!
I honestly didn’t think you could, but you can.
Cut the fresh watermelon up into small chunks and place in a single layer onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. You can place them close together, but not so close that they touch and stick to each other. That would make the frozen fruit more difficult to store.
Place into the freezer for a few hours until it hardens and then use what you need or place into freezer bags to store.
it will keep in the freezer for about 9 months.
*If not using a seedless watermelon, I highly recommend that you remove any and all black seeds from the chunks before freezing, or your blender might become angry.
Can I make a frozen watermelon lemonade cocktail?
