Hello friend,
If you read last week’s newsletter then you knew I was headed to the NYC area to catch up with Sandra (pictured above) of Dash of Sanity and Rebecca of Foodie with Family to watch their extremely talented children perform in the YAGP senior ballet competition. They were both AMAZING and it was wonderful to see so many incredible and talent youth. Being there brought out my appreciation for the arts yet again and now I want to go see a real honest to goodness ballet!
We stayed in Tarrytown, NY, 25 miles north of New York City, and I wish I’d been able to see more of it. Located right on the Hudson River, it’s a quaint New England town. It’s directly south of Sleepy Hollow which was made famous by writer Washington Irving. You can even visit Sleepy Hollow Cemetery where he and quite a few other famous people are buried such as some of the Rockefellers, Astors, Leona Helmsley, and more.
But, if you ever find yourself in Tarrytown and like pizza, visit Capri Pizza and Pasta! Their pizza is incredible and their garlic knots are out of this world as is the gelato.
If you need me the next week or so, I’ll be parked in front of my tv since the Boston Bruins are in the 1st round of the PLAYOFFS!! I’ll be wearing my Ullmark jersey for every game, too! 😊

Favorite Product of the Week:
I don’t have a favorite product this week as I haven’t been shopping. LOL I KNOW, so hard to believe, isn’t it?! But it’s true (except for groceries, of course)!
Tip of the Week:
This one comes from my mom years ago. I remember after dinner one night as a teenager, she told me to put some lotion on my hands before putting them into the dishwashing gloves. She said the warmth of the hot water would help work the lotion into the hands and keep them smooth. And it really does! But of course, if you put the lotion on without the gloves and then do the dishes, that would defeat the whole purpose! 🤣
I’d love to hear any tips you have, and what has helped you be more efficient and organized in the kitchen! If you would be interested in sharing them with all of us, and if I choose to share them in our newsletter, I’ll give you a first-name shoutout! ❤️
